CLINICAL SYSTEM SWITCH OVER 

key dates:

• 21st July week will have minimal disruption but staff will be involved in system training.
• 11th August week will be working on reduced capacity.
• 12th August Vision online Services will no longer be available for use.
• 14th, 15th, 18th August will have complete computer system downtime as the old system is taken offline. This means prescriptions will need to be ordered well in advance, GPs will only be able to deal with emergencies and nurses will only be able to deal with select appointment types.
• 19th August will be 'Go live' on our new systems - the surgery will be working at reduced capacity while staff get used to the new system.

**Please ensure if you have any prescriptions due over these periods that you order them well in advance. We will ensure you will have enough to last you through the transition.

Due to Clinical System upgrade commencing in August the SPPG has implemented a list Freeze from 22/07/25 to 15/09/25 (inc) to support the Practice with these changes and ease administration pressures related to new registrations.
